The Ragdoll is an affectionate and docile cat, first bred in the 1960s in California by Ann Baker, Persian breeder. It has medium longhaired fur, a thick coat with Siamese-like points, a tough body and short legs. Ragdolls are not generally agressive cats: many neither hunt nor defend themselves.
