What exactly is romance, are you wondering? To give you an exact definition, I've searched up the word on my reliable source, Dictionary.com, and consulted Wikipedia for more help:

Seven A romantic affair or experience; a love affair.

As you can tell, romance does not solely qualify romantic love. It's more of a celebration of life under various artistic forms.
